Since his early professional years, Stefano Simone Pintor has shown a significant interest in connecting arts and education. Over time, he has created and promoted interactive shows for children as well as International workshops for future authors, directors, actors and singers who are studying to become theatre professionals.

Accademia Belle Arti Macerata

Stefano starts teaching "Direction" (for cinema, visual arts, theatre, performing and interactive arts) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata.

Following his successful production "Falcone. Il tempo sospeso del volo", together with important Italian judges, prosecutors, men of letters and artists, Pintor holds several public conferences on the topic "mafia".

IES Abroad Milan

Stefano starts his collaboration with IES Abroad, a non-profit study abroad organization that administers study abroad programs for U.S. college-aged students. Since 2017 he teaches "Visual Storytelling" and "Staging Italian Opera" at the Milan Center, where he also becomes coordinator of the Music Program since 2021.

Ettore Majorana

Following his successful production "Ettore Majorana - Cronaca di infinite scomparse", together with important Italian physicists and writers, Pintor holds several public conferences on the topic "arts and science".

Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi

Stefano starts a two-years collaboration with the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan, leading a theoretical and practical workshop of "Assistant stage direction", making use of its ten-years experience in the field. During the course, the students have been given the chance to audit music and stage rehearsals at the Teatro alla Scala, where Stefano has worked for several years alongside worldwide known directors such as L. Ronconi, W. Kentridge, G. Lavia, L. Pelly, G. Cassiers, D. Michieletto, D. Tcherniakov, D. McVicar and R. Carsen.

Royal Opera House, Muscat (Oman)

Stefano's interactive show for children "Il flauto magico" (see below) is acquired by the Royal Opera House of Muscat (Oman), becoming its first repertoire opera. With the aim to give a message of openness and inclusiveness to all the Omani and expats children, the opera is sung in Arabic, English and Italian.

The TV channel DeA Kids of the Italian Sky TV platform airs two shows entirely dedicated to Stefano's production for children "Il flauto magico" and "Aida". The two TV programs, respectively called "Mozart a modo mio" and "Verdi a modo mio", are aired for two years.

Following the huge success of his Magic Flute for children (see below), Stefano stages the interactive opera "Aida - Amore è coraggio", creating another remarkable two-years tour. This show has been awarded with the representing medal of the Italian Republic President Giorgio Napolitano for its high cultural and educational value (see Giornale della Musica).

Il flauto magico

The interactive opera for children "Il flauto magico - Sconfiggere mostri" (produced by AsLiCo Opera domani...) scores more than 150 performances throughout all major Italian opera houses and theatres, including the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, the Teatro Sociale in Como, the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, the Teatro Comunale in Bozen and many others. In this show, the young audience becomes part of the story by singing some arias together with the singers or performing little extracts. Essential feature of the project is the teacher training through a specific educational path that is organized in all the cities involved in the tour in the months preceding the show.
